Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, parts, incidentals, consumables, and transportation for the delivery, installation, and performance verification of the Desiccant Machine. The machine must be capable of performing precise vacuum and pressure tests on F107 engines. Delivery, installation, and performance verification must be completed within 10 business days of delivery.
Performance Requirements
The Desiccant Machine must meet specific technical capabilities:
- Vacuum Testing: Capable of vacuum testing at 27.7 +/- 0.3 inches of H2O, detecting flow rates as low as 0 +/- 0.010 scfm.
- Pressure Testing: Capable of pressure testing at 27.7 +/- 0.3 inches of H2O, detecting flow rates as low as 0.045 scfm.
- Calibration: System must include internal regulators and indicator gauges for vacuum and pressure calibration, allowing for calibration using government in-house apparatus (PMEL).
- Data & Controls: Ports for data acquisition and communication, accurate/readable flow/pressure gauges. Operates on 110V AC with grounded plug and emergency shutoff. Control logic must support Mode 1 (vacuum) and Mode 2 (pressure) with a simple, intuitive operator interface.
- Connections: AN4 hose connections with stainless braided hosing, SWAGELOK QC-4 quick connect fittings (Key 1 for pressure, Key 2 for vacuum), and a 1/4 NPT male quick connect for base airline connection. Hosing minimum 5 ft.
