Purpose & Scope
This is a market research effort to gather information on industry capabilities for operating the NNSY Destruction Center. The requirement includes providing five contractor employees (including a Lead) to operate the center Monday-Friday, 0700-1530. Key tasks involve coordinating burn bag pickups, operating industrial destruction equipment (disintegrators, compactors, degaussers), sorting materials, safeguarding classified and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and maintaining facility cleanliness. Personnel must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and traversing ladders.
Contractor Requirements
Contractor personnel must possess a Secret security clearance and Restricted Data access, a valid driver's license, and be U.S. Citizens.
