Scope of Work
The requirement is for LONZA DANTOCOL DHE, specifically N, N 2-Hydroxyethyl Dimethyl Hydantoin Polyurethane Grade. The product must be from a qualified vendor within MCAAP 702-13 Pamphlet and comply with WS-23149A Specification. Key exceptions to the specification include: Refractive Index shall not apply, and Electrical Conductivity and Phosphate Content shall replace Refractive Index.
Required Analytical Tests:
- Hydroxyl Number (mg KOH/gm Sample): 485-515
- Water, %: Max 0.5
- pH (5% solution): 5.5-7.5
- Electrical Conductivity (10% solution) (mS/cm): 0-100
- Phosphate Content (ppm): 0-200
- Refractive Index (25 °C): 1.4986-1.5006 (Test either Refractive Index or both Electrical Conductivity and Phosphate Content).
Documentation Requirements:
- Certificate of Conformance (COC)
- Certificate of Analysis (COA)
- Safety Data Sheet (SDS) COC/COA must include manufacturer name, product name/description, specification, lot/batch number, manufacture/expiration date, analytical data, statement of no change in materials or processes, and authorized signature. Packaging labels must also include specific product information. COC/COA approval by MCAAP AO is required before contract award.
