  • If component failure requires additional parts, vendor must provide them.
  • If remanufactured, a passing dyno test is required.
  • Engine must be painted CAT Yellow.
  • Minimum one-year warranty on rebuilt engines.

• Allison HD 4070 (Gen 3 and Gen 4) Transmission:

  • Dyno testing within 10 working days of receipt.
  • Meet or exceed specific torque, power, speed, and gear ratio criteria.
  • Retarder and PTO capacity specifications.
  • If Gen 3 fails, return to customer. If Gen 4 fails, remanufacture within 30 days.
  • Minimum one-year warranty on rebuilt transmissions.

• General:

  • Contract is for a maximum of 70 engines/transmissions per 12-month period, with one option year.
  • Quantities are estimates only; guaranteed minimum is 1 vehicle.

• Contract Type: Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with Economic Price Adjustment.

• Period of Performance: Base plus one option year.
