This solicitation is for Dietary Food Delivery Services for the Dietary Department at the Pine Ridge Indian Health Service (IHS) Hospital. The acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business, Open Market Set-Aside.

• Dietary Food Delivery Services.

• Services are required for a base period and one additional option year.

• The period of performance includes a one (1) year base period and one (1) additional option year.

• The Government intends to award a contract without discussions, evaluating offers based on price and other factors.

• The offeror agrees to hold prices firm for 60 calendar days from the offer due date.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for food delivery services to the Pine Ridge Service Unit Dietary Department. The primary goal is to ensure timely, safe, and compliant delivery of food items that meet quality and regulatory standards established by HHS, IHS, and applicable state and federal food safety regulations.

• The contractor shall provide food delivery services.

• Deliveries must be pre-approved by a designated Point of Contact (POC) and supported by a valid contract.

• Deliveries are scheduled weekly or as otherwise approved, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

• All products must be properly packaged, sealed, and labeled.

• Delivery personnel must comply with hospital safety and sanitation protocols.

• Deliveries must maintain proper holding temperatures during transportation.

• Deliveries must arrive at the designated hospital loading dock (east side) at the scheduled time.

• Only unopened, undamaged, and properly packaged items will be accepted.

• The hospital reserves the right to inspect all deliveries.

• Product substitutions require advance approval from the Dietary Department POC.

• The contractor is responsible for maintaining accurate delivery logs, invoices, and proof of delivery.

• Timely Delivery: Within scheduled delivery window (100% AQL)

• Food Temperature Maintenance: Meets FDA and IHS standards for cold/hot foods (100% AQL)

• Packaging Integrity: No damaged or open packaging (100% AQL)

• Documentation Accuracy: Complete, legible, and correct invoices/delivery slips (100% AQL)

• Staff Conduct: Courteous, compliant with safety protocols (100% AQL)

• Base Year: Award date plus one year.

• Option Year Period 1: One year following the base year.
