Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This contract is to fulfill the Dillon Field Office (DFO) need for Cattleguards. The Bid Value Schedule will provide quantities and lengths of cattleguards as required by this contract. The Contractor is responsible for delivery of materials to the BLM Admin Site in Dillon, Montana. The BLM will provide a forklift and operator for off-loading.

• Each end of the base will have two ½" threaded anchor bolts extending 4" for side boards (3" and 9" from top of base).
• Base dimensions: 3" longer than nominal size (e.g., 12' bases measure 12'3").

Cattleguard Wing Requirements:

• All steel components must be ASTM A-36.
• All welded construction with secure welds.
• Painting: Same requirements as Cattleguard Grids (SSPC SP-6 cleaning, primer, finish coat, color, and timing).
• Manufacturer's Literature: Submit 2 copies of descriptive and design data.
• Certificates: Submit 2 copies of written certification of conformity.
