Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, material, and equipment for the proper removal, reuse, recycling, and/or disposal of IBCs and metal drums, along with their contents. The work involves:
- CLIN 001: 14 IBCs (275-gal) containing expired/partially full concrete admixtures at IHC-CDF.
- CLIN 002: 19 IBCs (275-gal) containing expired/partially empty concrete admixtures at Calumet Harbor Stone Dock.
- CLIN 003: 2 empty IBCs (275-gal) and 2 empty metal drums (55-gal) at Calumet Harbor Stone Dock.
- CLIN 004: 1 IBC (275-gal) containing used oil at Calumet Harbor Stone Dock. The contractor is responsible for determining the means and methods for disposal, adhering to all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations, and USACE EM 385-1-1 safety standards. A Waste Management and Transportation Disposal Plan (WMTDP) and an Accident Prevention Plan (APP) are required.
