Quick Summary

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has announced a Proposers Day for its Disruption through Intelligent Strategies, Counter Options, and Resilient Defenses (DISCORD) program. This event, scheduled for May 7, 2026, aims to provide information on the DISCORD program, which seeks to develop an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-native tactics engine. The Proposers Day will facilitate discussions, address questions, and offer teaming opportunities for potential proposers.

Program Objective

The DISCORD program's objective is to create an AI-native tactics engine capable of integrating live sensor data and high-fidelity simulation. This engine will rapidly generate tactics that continuously adapt to changes in the operational environment, providing commanders with a portfolio of diverse strategies that can pivot dynamically. This effort implements Ender’s Foundry, a warfighting Pace-Setting Project (PSP) by the Department of War, designed to accelerate AI-enabled simulation capabilities against AI-enabled adversaries.

Proposers Day Details

The Proposers Day will be held on May 7, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM ET at the SPA Arlington Research Collaboration Center (SPARCC) in Arlington, Virginia. Its purpose is to inform potential proposers about the DISCORD program, encourage discussion, answer questions, and provide a forum for teaming. Registration is required by April 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM ET via https://creative.spa.com/darpa/sto/discord/pd/. Attendance is limited to the first 80 registrants, with a maximum of two representatives per organization. Attendees must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Persons, as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) may be discussed. Organizations interested in presenting a 3-minute overview or teaming capabilities (one slide) must contact DISCORD@darpa.mil by the registration deadline, with materials due by April 30, 2026.
