Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for janitorial services at the Dixie National Forest Supervisor's Office and Cedar City Ranger District located at 820 North Main Street, Cedar City, UT 84721.

• Basic Services: Daily cleaning of approximately 16,000 square feet of office space, including reception/lobby, conference rooms, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and hallways. Daily tasks include dusting, trash removal, floor cleaning (resilient floors weekly, carpets twice weekly), and cleaning of break room counters and sinks.

• Periodic Services: Includes weekly, quarterly, and semi-annual tasks.

• Quarterly Tasks: Cleaning of interior light fixtures, dusting of venetian blinds/air vent registers, and cleaning of entrances, reception areas, conference rooms, corridors, windowsills, fire extinguishers, ledges, and doors.

• Semi-Annual Tasks: Interior window washing, including wiping water spots from sills/frames and protecting adjacent surfaces. The COR may direct commercial carpet cleaning twice annually with approximately 21 calendar days' notice, to be performed on weekends.

• General Cleanliness: Areas must be free of dust, dirt, debris, carpet stains (excluding existing documented stains), trash, streaks, and smudges.

• Specific Areas: Desks and IT equipment are not to be cleaned. Horizontal and vertical surfaces, including furniture, counters, railings, etc., up to 70 inches high, must be free of dust and oil spots.

• Acceptable Quality Level (AQL): Generally 95% acceptability for services. Specific performance standards and surveillance methods are detailed in Section 9.0, including potential deductions for non-compliance.

• Place of Performance: Dixie National Forest Supervisor's Office/Cedar City Ranger District, 820 North Main Street, Cedar City, UT 84721.

• Period of Performance: One Base Period of 12 months, with four 12-month option periods. Dates are specified from Date of Award through February 28, 2031.
