This solicitation is for the DK-Dam Tender House Roof Replacement at Heart Butte Dam, North Dakota. The project involves removing and replacing approximately 2,388 square feet of roofing, including shingles, synthetic roofing felt, ice and water barrier, asphalt starter, galvanized drip-edges/gutters, and roof windows turbines. The estimated magnitude of the project is less than $25,000.

• Removal and disposal of existing roofing and gutter systems.

• Evaluation and replacement of roof sheathing as needed.

• Fabrication and installation of new roofing and gutter systems.

• Evaluation of existing attic ventilation.

• Replacement of five (5) passive roof vents with new roof windows turbines.

• Materials specified include laminated composite 3-tab shingles (commercial quality, 20-year warranty), synthetic roofing felt, ice and water barrier, asphalt starter, 5-inch, No. 24 gauge galvanized sheet metal gutters, galvanized nails and staples, and roof windows turbines.

• The contractor must provide manufacturer color samples for approval.

• The new roof must be structurally sound, weather-resistant, and free from defects.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price.

• Period of Performance: 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The contractor shall mobilize, start, and complete all project work within two (2) weeks of the Notice to Proceed.

• Work Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time. Alternate hours require COR coordination.
