Scope of Work

The contractor will provide a skilled workforce to manage excess and surplus Department of War (DoW) property. Key services include:

  • Property Management: Receiving, reutilization, transfer, donation, demilitarization (DEMIL), accountability, and disposal actions.
  • Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operations & Services: Preventive and corrective maintenance, and calibration of MHE, vehicles, and demilitarization equipment. This includes ordering and managing parts, which will be reimbursed at actual rates. Contractors must have sufficient cash flow to fund approximately $100,000 annually for parts, with potential for a 300% increase.
  • Safety Program: Providing Safety Officers to plan, monitor, and evaluate the DLA DS Qatar Safety program. The work schedule is nine hours a day, five days a week (Sunday-Thursday).

Contractor personnel may also be required to obtain Common Access Cards (CACs), with detailed procedures for issuance, control, and turn-in.
