Scope of Work

The contractor will provide comprehensive MHE maintenance services to ensure continuous operational readiness. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preventive Maintenance (PM): Annual PM for listed equipment (excluding mobile ramps), adhering to OEM specifications, including load tests, Limited Technical Inspections (LTIs), electrical charging equipment checks, engine/transmission inspections, and fluid checks. Fork inspections are required with each PM.
  • Corrective Maintenance (CM): Assessment, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of CM requests within five business days. Written estimates are required within two business days of assessment, with repairs completed within five business days of receiving necessary parts. Functional tests and proper lug nut torquing are mandatory.
  • General Services: Provision of all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and quality control. Compliance with lock-out/tag-out procedures, proper handling of hazardous materials/waste, and removal of replaced parts and trash.
  • Equipment: The scope covers a detailed inventory of forklifts (electric, diesel, container handlers), front-end loaders, utility task vehicles, warehouse sweepers/scrubbers, warehouse trailers, and mobile ramps at the DS Lewis site.
