This Sources Sought aims to determine overall vendor interest, availability, and capability to perform the required dock-side maintenance for the USCGC HEALY. The USCG expects significant involvement from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), GE Power, for work on Science Winch Control Systems, Cycloconverters, and Main Diesel Engines, requiring coordination and potential laydown area on the pier.

  • Fire Prevention and Temporary Services
  • Recapitalization of Science Data Network, CG One Network, and Ice Radar
  • Load testing of electrical systems (28 Volt DC Helo Power Supply, 400 Hz Electrical Power Distribution)
  • Upgrades to Impressed Current Cathodic Protection
  • Inspection and testing of Oceanographic Winch, Scientific and Ocean Engineering Systems
  • Maintenance and overhaul of various mechanical systems (Oily Water Separator, Auxiliary Diesel Generator Starter, Refrigeration Plant, Boilers, Ship Service Air Compressor, Fuel/Lube Oil Purifiers)
  • Inspection and preservation of hull, decks, superstructure, and stack
