Scope of Work
The anticipated repairs, to be completed over 56 calendar days, include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning, inspection, and hydrotesting of seawater heat exchangers.
- Commercial cleaning of boiler exhaust stack uptakes.
- Cleaning and flushing of the chill water system.
- Renewal of boilers, potable water pneumatic tanks, and hot water accumulator tanks.
- General overhaul of steering gear and inspection/service of the single point davit.
- Renewal of sewage discharge and vacuum pumps.
- Cleaning and inspection of grey water holding tanks, and cleaning/flushing of sewage and grey water piping.
- Preservation of grey water holding tanks (Option Item).
- Provision of temporary heating and cooling services (Option Item).
- Replacement of the whistle timer.
- Preservation of fan room decks.
- Renewal of deck and bulkhead plating, steam system valves and piping, engine flywheel disc coupling, interior wet deck covering, and deck drain piping.
- Lead dust cleaning in interior compartment(s).
- Cleaning and overhaul of ventilation systems.
- Renewal of external watertight doors.
