Scope of Required Services
DoWEA is contemplating using an existing warehouse (Building 251) at USAG Sembach as a central consolidation point for supplies and excess materials for DoWEA Schools. Services requested include:
- Warehouse Management: Establish and manage a comprehensive program covering personnel, inventory control, shipping/receiving, stocking, and furniture assembly/maintenance. This includes developing and maintaining a system of records (e.g., SharePoint) with full DoWEA access.
- Transportation and Customer Service: Coordinate all transportation, assembly, and installation services, providing necessary vehicles and material handling equipment. Services will cover the DoDEA Europe Region Warehouse (Building 251) and DoDEA Europe schools/offices within a 400 KM radius, including Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC), Baumholder, Wiesbaden, Ansbach, Hohenfels, Stuttgart, and Brussels areas.
- Excess Equipment: Coordinate pickup and delivery of excess equipment from or to schools within a 300 KM radius of Sembach.
Operational Constraints
- Hours of Operation: 07:00 to 16:00, Monday through Friday, excluding United States Federal Government holidays.
- Language Proficiency: All on-site personnel must possess a minimum English language proficiency of B1 (or equivalent).
