The U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration (MARAD), seeks qualified operators of various vessel types to act as General Agent for vessels owned or controlled or time-chartered by MARAD. Qualified firms may apply to the Director, National Shipping Authority (DNSA) to be appointed as a General Agent. Appointments will be made to all applicants determined to meet the qualification requirements set forth in this announcement.
Applications will be received for an indefinite period effective upon publication of this announcement on the SAM.gov website. It will take approximately 45 days for MARAD to complete evaluation of applications. Submit the application (attachments 01 thru 03) to Robert McDermott, robert.mcdermott@dot.gov.
