This is a draft Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government is seeking industry feedback on the RFP and Performance Work Statement (PWS) prior to publishing the solicitation. The Government will not provide responses to comments or suggestions recieved in response to this notice, but will consider all information submitted before finalizing and publishing the RFP. The Government will not accept or respond to any proposals submitted in response to this draft RFP notice.
The purpose of this indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract is to obtain reliable, responsive, and cost-effective communication infrastructure services in both DISA and at other DISA-approved locations. DISA's goal is to obtain a dynamically scalable communications capability utilizing an on-demand service approach for equipment that can readily adjust to both increases and decreases in communications requirements and which is available on an “as ordered" basis for communication hardware.
The scope of this contract includes the hardware, operating software, storage, network management tools and software, automation tools and software, and technical services required to deliver DISA the flexibility to meet the requirements of security, availability, scalability, and modernization of the communication infrastructure for data centers and hybrid-cloud solutions.
