Scope of Work
The objective is to procure dry ice for delivery to multiple locations within the Corpus Christi Army Depot during FY27. The required forms and estimated annual quantities include:
- Dry Ice Block: Approximately 390,000 lbs yearly (60 lb blocks/cubes), delivered twice weekly to 12 depot locations.
- Dry Ice Slab: Approximately 18,720 lbs yearly (60 lb slabs), delivered twice weekly to one specific depot location (T700 Engines / Stop # 037 / Bldg. 8).
- Dry Ice Pellets: Approximately 3,432 lbs yearly (33 lb bundles), delivered once weekly to one specific depot location (Rotating Electric / Stop # 077 / Bldg. 8).

Submission Instructions
All questions and responses must be submitted in writing to Edward Chilson (edward.a.chilson.civ@army.mil). Responses should be in MS Word or Adobe PDF format.
Special Requirements
The service involves hazardous material logistics. Contractors must comply with OSHA standards, Army Regulation (AR) 385-10, and USACE Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1). An Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) must be submitted within 15 days of contract award and approved by the COR before deliveries. These plans must cover offloading, internal routing, delivery, and mitigation strategies for asphyxiation, cryogenic hazards, material handling, and emergency response. A current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for solid carbon dioxide and certification of personnel training on handling cryogenic and asphyxiant materials are also required.
