Quick Summary
The Department of the Army, W074 ENDIST MOBILE, is conducting market research and seeking sources for a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the Drydocking and Repair of Survey Vessel DAMRELL. This opportunity is for work to be performed between Pensacola, FL and Gulfport, MS. Responses are due April 24, 2026.
Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for dry-docking the S/V DAMRELL and performing all necessary repairs as described in the technical specifications. This includes furnishing all labor, materials, fittings, tools, power, lubricants, fuel, and water. The contractor must also provide and bear the expense of necessary facilities, plant movement, shore power, and electricity while the vessel is at their facility. Any removal or shifting of plant parts for repairs, and subsequent replacement, will be at the contractor's expense, including making good any resulting damage or loss. The contractor will also bear the cost of storing any fuel, oil, or other materials.
The S/V DAMRELL is an aluminum, hydrofoil assisted, catamaran survey vessel with general dimensions of 69 feet length, 24 feet-5 inches beam, 9 feet-5 and one-quarter inches depth molded, and a maximum displacement of 110,000 lbs. Due to the sensitive nature of hull-mounted transducers and hydrofoil arrangement, the vessel must be hauled out of the water using a marine travel lift only.
