Purpose & Scope of Work
This RFI aims to gather market information from qualified vendors capable of providing comprehensive dyno testing and potential remanufacturing services. This is not a solicitation and does not guarantee a future procurement.
CAT C12 Engine Services:
- Dyno testing within five working days of receipt, at a rate of at least one per workday.
- Dyno specs must meet or exceed optimal HP/Torque, operating range RPM, max engine speed, and fuel pressure.
- Provide complete Dyno Reports (email and hard copy).
- If an engine fails, the vendor must be able to complete a remanufacture within 30 days (including top-end, bottom-end, or complete rebuilds).
- Provide a passing dyno test report after remanufacture and paint remanufactured engines CAT Yellow.
- Provide a minimum one-year warranty on rebuilt engines.
- Anticipated requirement for a maximum of 70 engines, for one year with one option year.
Allison HD 4070 Transmission Services (Gen 3 and Gen 4):
- Dyno testing within five working days of receipt, at a rate of at least one per workday.
- Dyno specs must meet or exceed criteria for Max Gross Input Torque, Gross Input Power, Full Load Governed Speed, Idle Speed in Drive, Gear Ratios, Retarder Capacity, and PTO Capacity.
- If a transmission fails, the vendor must be able to complete a remanufacture within 30 days and provide a passing dyno report.
- Provide a minimum one-year warranty on rebuilt transmissions.
- Anticipated requirement for a maximum of 70 transmissions, for one year with one option year.
