EAR048 Repair Site Fire Alarms: General Description of Work: This project has a need for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Construction Replacement of Site Fire Alarm Systems contract. The existing fire alarm systems on the installation are outdated, increasing difficulty in repairing or maintaining the existing system to ensure requirements of UFC 3-600-01 Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities are met. The work would be on 44 separate buildings within the Eareckson Air Station installation. Project scope includes the demolition and/or replacement of fire alarm systems within the 44 buildings. Additionally, there will be construction of two (2) Monaco D ? 21 receiving stations, as well as, outside plant fiber optic cabling installation to create a communication backbone for fire alarm signals from each building back to the Monaco D-21 central receiving stations.
