• This is NOT a Request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation package will be issued.

• Responses received by 12:00 pm CDT on 4 March 2026 will be considered by the Government.

• Information submitted should demonstrate the offeror's capability to provide the required services and will be used to determine if a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for EDAX equipment, ensuring continuous and safe operation certified to factory specifications at Eglin AFB.

• Provide all necessary management, labor, parts, tools, and supplies for maintenance and repair of EDAX equipment, related hardware, and software.

• Offer unlimited telephone support during normal working hours.

• Provide unlimited service calls.

• Conduct one (1) annual preventative maintenance visit per period of performance (PoP).

• The contract includes one (1) PoP and two (2) additional option periods.

• Specific equipment covered includes EDAX Apollo-40, Silicon Drift Detector Module and SiLi window, Hikari Camera, and Pegasus Analysis System, all located at the HERD Facility, 2306 Perimeter Road, Bldg. 1170 Room IC104.

• Annual preventative maintenance must ensure equipment is certified to operate within manufacturer's original standards.

• Repairs must be made in a timely manner, with the customer informed of expected repair times.

• 95% of service calls must meet specified response and repair timelines.

• 95% of all maintenance and repair reports must be timely and accurate, delivered within two business days.

• The place of performance is Eglin AFB, specifically the HERD Facility, 2306 Perimeter Road, Bldg. 1170 Room IC104.

• The contract period includes one base period and two option periods.

• Only factory-certified technicians are permitted to perform maintenance services.

• The contractor shall provide a written report within two business days of annual preventative maintenance and routine repairs, detailing work performed, technician, calibration, and equipment condition.

• For older equipment (Apollo detector), the contractor may replace components with new or refurbished items of equal or better specification. If the Apollo detector fails, the contractor will replace the asset. The contractor may also replace the computer OS and EDAX Application SW at their discretion.

• Contractor employees require base access and must adhere to security requirements, including background checks.
