Quick Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), through its Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC), anticipates soliciting proposals for a design-bid-build construction project to upgrade and improve the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) infrastructure at the Hershel "Woody" Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center (HWVAMC) in Huntington, West Virginia. This will be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside contract.

Scope of Work

The selected contractor will be responsible for completely preparing the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures. The primary objective is to upgrade and improve the EHRM infrastructure across the HWVAMC campus. This includes, but is not limited to, upgrades to fiber runs to and within specified buildings, primary and backup power distribution systems, individual Telecommunications Room (TR) locations, and an expansion of the campus data center. The work encompasses general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, and necessary removal of existing structures.
