Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This project aims to replace the roofs at the El Malpais Ranger Station Visitor Center and Workshop to address ongoing water intrusion, prevent further damage, and mitigate safety hazards such as mold. The project is funded through the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA).

• Remove existing roofing, including torch-down and asphalt shingles, and replace unsafe sheeting.

• Submittals required include work schedules, value schedule, Certificates of Conformance, product data, shop drawings, manufacturer's literature, as-built drawings, samples, substitution requests, and warranties. A 10-working day review period is required for submittals.

• A Pre-Work Conference will be held prior to the start of work.

• Final inspection will be held at the project site or as determined by the Contracting Officer.
