Scope of Work
The project's Base Bid requires the furnishing and installation of one (1) electronic sliding gate at the El Nogal Campground entrance and one (1) at the Canon Administrative Site entrance. Both gates must accommodate a 30-foot driveway width and include specific components: 4" x 1/4" pipe support posts set in concrete, a 2" x 4" 11 gauge black-finished gate frame, and a LiftMaster CSL24UL Commercial Operator with safety photo-eyes, safety electric-edge, and battery backup. Keypads will be for admin use with timer operation, and each gate will have one exit loop and two presence loops. Gates will be installed in the "open" position, with power performed separately.
An Option Item includes the furnishing and delivery of three (3) single-arm swing gates, each a minimum of fourteen (14) feet in length with an extendable arm, to the Canon Admin Site. Additionally, six (6) separate eight-foot locking posts are to be fabricated and delivered to the same locations.
Contract Details
This is an anticipated Firm Fixed Price contract. The Period of Performance is thirty (30) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP), with work commencing no later than ten (10) days after NTP. Performance Bonds are mandatory. The applicable NAICS Code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $45 million. Bidders must adhere to the General Decision Number NM20260031 Wage Determination for building construction projects in Taos County, New Mexico.
Submission & Evaluation
Offerors must submit a Signed 1442, Attachment 2 Schedule of Items, Bid bond (if applicable), a Technical Proposal, and Past Performance information. Award will be made to the offeror representing the best value to the Government, based on an evaluation of Technical Approach, Price, and Past Performance. The Technical Approach will assess the ability to provide a sound, compliant solution, Price will be evaluated for fairness and reasonableness, and Past Performance will be assessed as acceptable or neutral. Award will not necessarily go to the lowest-priced offeror, and tradeoffs will not be conducted.
