Key Requirements & Quality Assurance

Contractors must adhere to higher-level contract quality requirements, including detailed inspection and testing. A one-year warranty is required for supplies of a noncomplex nature. Key quality provisions include:

  • Material Certification: Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis is mandatory for the Elbow. Re-identification and re-certification are required if material properties are altered during processing. Electronic signatures on certification documents are acceptable under controlled conditions.
