Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy, NSWC Crane, is conducting a sole source procurement (N00164-26-Q-0055) for Electric Load Hoist Assemblies and associated parts. The government intends to negotiate with Electro Lift Inc. for these Brand Name Only items, which are critical for supporting SP22 Davit LCR SPALT 2631 on SSBN submarines. While the acquisition is UNRESTRICTED, it is being sole-sourced due to specific design requirements and the proven success of existing Electro Lift hoists. Offers are due February 11, 2026, at 04:00 PM Eastern Time.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for Davit Electric Load Hoist Assemblies and specific subcomponents, including:
- Electric Load Hoist Assembly (PN: R88331 / M12055A) with specifications: Type BC-SH-BM, 1,500 lbs capacity, 20 FPM speed, 20 FT lift, 460 Volt 3 Phase 60 HZ (excluding wire rope).
- Motor/Brake Assembly (PN: DE706A).
- Bearing (PN: DM7417).
- Gear Box/Rope Drum Assembly (ELH) (PN: 8758199-001 / M12055A-SH3/4). These hoists are essential for the SP22 Davit LCR SPALT 2631, which serves as support equipment for SSBN submarines. All major testing and resistance testing will be performed by NSWC or designated entities.
