This includes reestablishing a maintainable and serviceable electrical infrastructure by addressing deficiencies that pose safety risks and threaten reliable power delivery. Key tasks involve:

  • Targeted repair and preventative maintenance of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) electrical distribution systems.
  • Equipment servicing, reconditioning, minor part replacement, and corrective actions on degraded, damaged, or neglected equipment.
  • Project coordination, power quality monitoring (using IEEE 1159 and IEC 61000-4-30 standards), infrared inspection, and visual surveys of critical MV and LV components.
  • Electrical testing, upgrades, and repairs, including insulation resistance testing, continuity tests, torque verification, cleaning, and minor replacements.
  • Delivering a technical report summarizing findings, upgrades, repairs, and prioritized corrective actions with Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates. All work must comply with applicable BIE requirements, NFPA standards (70B, 70E), NEC, NETA MTS, and IEEE 400.1.
