The contractor shall provide a comprehensive electronic key storage system capable of storing 35 multi-key rings (approximately 30 keys per ring) and 150 vehicle key rings (1-2 keys per ring). Key features and services include:
- Automated Control: Computerized locking steel drawers and i Button/RFID key tag technology to eliminate manual scanning and create verifiable audit trails upon key removal.
- Software Support: 365 days a year, including updates and enhancements, for the Electronic Key Storage System located in Building 9106. The software will operate independently and will not be connected to the network.
- Hardware Support: Provision of repair or replacement for any non-operational hardware, including shipping costs. This covers the Electronic Key Storage System and its components, such as the PC server, monitor, keyboard, fingerprint reader, mouse, and printer.
- Warranty & Maintenance: A maintenance contract for the duration of the base year plus four option years. Annual maintenance support is required, with a four-business-day response time for inoperable systems and telephone support as the first line of assistance.
