Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the purchase, installation, and performance verification of one (1) 65 kW HSK A 100 Electrospindle at Tinker Air Force Base, OK.

• Purchase and delivery of one (1) 65 kW HSK A 100 Electrospindle to Building 9001, Post E69, Tinker AFB.

• Contractor travel to Tinker AFB for six (6) days for the installation of the Electrospindle.

• Provide Performance Verification to ensure the Electrospindle meets Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and SOW requirements.

• Make all necessary adjustments to the Electrospindle until it is fully operational.

• Installation and Performance Verification to occur at Building 9001, Post E69, Tinker Air Force Base, OK.

• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1600, excluding Federal Holidays, base closures, and furlough days. Off-hours work requires Government approval.

• Safety: Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and instructions regarding environmental protection and occupational safety and health. Specific compliance is required with Tinker AFB's Hazardous Materials Management procedures and Hazardous Waste Management Plan.

• Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT): Contractors must certify if HAZMAT will be used or brought on base. If used, a HAZMAT log must be maintained and provided monthly. Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and an SDS Information Sheet must be submitted for approval prior to shipping any chemicals.

• Hazardous Waste: Contractors must certify if hazardous waste will be generated. Disposal of contaminated waste must be in government-furnished containers. Notification to the COR is required if containers are unavailable.

• Discharges: Discharges into Tinker's industrial waste treatment plant or sanitary sewer require approval. Off-site discharges must go to a permitted treatment facility.

• Spills: Immediate reporting of spills to 911 and environmental authorities is required, followed by a written report within four hours.

• Environmental Training: Personnel must have training on Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations. Training must be approved by 72 ABW/CEIE.

• Housekeeping: Work areas must be kept clean and neat.

• Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and Dropped Object Prevention: Personnel working in or traveling through operational areas must receive FOD/DOP training and provide written certification.

• Visitors Pass: Arrangements for visitors must be made seven (7) business days in advance.

• Safety and Health: Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and AFI 91-203 is mandatory. Injuries or damage to government property must be reported within one business day.

• Combating Trafficking in Persons: Contractors must monitor performance and notify the government of any alleged violations.

• Emergency Procedures: Personnel must follow government direction during emergencies and participate in fire and tornado drills.
