Scope of Work

- Removal and replacement of water-damaged timber framing, sheathing, insulation, and ceiling (approx. 18'x4').
- Mold testing and remediation in the damaged area.
- Disposal/recycling of all removed materials. Work must be accomplished in phases to minimize exposure of warehouse contents.
Contract Details & Evaluation
This is a Firm Fixed-Price contract with an estimated magnitude between $25,000 and $100,000. The Period of Performance is 90 days from contract award, including a 10-day government review period for safety submittals. Award will be made to the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer. Performance bonds are not required, but 100% payment protection (e.g., payment bond SF25A) is required within 10 days after award.
Key Requirements & Technical Acceptability
To be considered technically acceptable, offerors must:
- Be registered and active in SAM.gov with no exclusions.
- Utilize a metal roof system installer approved/authorized by the manufacturer, with at least three years of experience and capable of providing the specified warranty.
- Possess a valid North Carolina general contractor's license with an "S" (Roofing) classification.
- Provide a 10-year or longer workmanship warranty.
- Demonstrate previous experience on a minimum of two similar contracts/projects.
- Submit a technical proposal clearly demonstrating the ability to meet all Statement of Work (SOW) requirements.

A Level 2 Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) and a Competent Person (CP) for Fall Protection are required.
