This is a notice of intent that the government anticipates issuing a ceiling increase for contract FA8523-18-D-0001 for engineering support for the United States Air Force (USAF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) AN/ALR-56C and AN/ALR-56M Radar Warning Receivers applicable to the USAF fleet of F-15C/D/E, F-16 40/50 and 52 block, and C-130 aircraft and the FMS F-15S, F-16, and C-130 aircraft. The engineering support activities include operational flight program upgrades, mission data file generator executable files, hardware prototypes, test events, test support, FMS familiarization package, studies, and analyses. This requirement was awarded 18 June 2018, sole source to BAE Systems, 100 Campus Road, Totowa, NJ 07512, Cage Code 81413, under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This contract consists of five one-year ordering periods followed by five one-year option periods. This ceiling increase in the amount of $50M, will cover the remaining period of performance which expires 17 June 2028.
