Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work details the requirements for replacing two (2) electrically powered bay doors on the inner side of a compound and repairing two (2) outer bay doors at B7625, ensuring all four doors are fully functional and electrically controlled.

• Interior Compound Bay Doors: Remove existing doors and install two (2) new Cornell Cookson Model ESD 12'x16' Commercial Insulated Rolling Steel Doors. These doors must be face/surface mount, include interior coil weather thermistors, 6F insulated slats, 24/24 gauge galvanized steel, gray galvanized steel, and MGH 7511 E Logic 3 HP 120/1/60 motor operators with auxiliary chain and 3-button surface mount Nema 1 wall stations, and dedicated controllers.

• Exterior Compound Bay Doors: Furnish and install two (2) Lift Master Straight Arms, two (2) Lift Master Curved Arms, and two (2) 24" Operator Reinforcement Brackets on the existing bay doors.

• Electrical Work: Install electrical components for all bay doors, including a new 60 Amp 120/208v Single Phase MLO Panel, connect circuits from the existing exterior panel, and install dedicated 120v circuits with conduit for each new bay door. Also, furnish and install conduit, wire, breakers, and control wire for existing door controllers.

• Other Work: Contractor shall provide controls testing and submit for approval.

• Work must be performed in accordance with Statement of Work, UFC's, International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, International Plumbing Code, National Electric Code, Architectural Barriers Act, and NFPA Life Safety Code.

• All new materials shall be submitted for approval.

• All equipment, supplies, and materials provided/installed must be new and not refurbished.

• Contractor is responsible for any damage to government facilities during demolition.

• Period of Performance: 30 days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

• Material lead time: 4-to-6 weeks expected.

• Workday: Not earlier than 7:30 am and not later than 6:00 pm.

• Contractors must field verify all equipment and material prior to bidding.

• Contractors and sub-contractors entering confined spaces must comply with Base and OSHA requirements.

• Obtain a 2 CES Digging Permit (AF Form 103) prior to beginning work, if applicable.

• Coordinate utility outages at least 21 days in advance.

• Demolition materials become contractor property and must be removed from the Base.

• Inspections/Acceptance will be based on conformance to the contract; nonconforming work will be rejected.

• Site must be left clean and fully restored.
