Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Trailers. This RFI seeks information on 7' x 20' enclosed trailers to support EOD emergency response and Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) missions at various Air Force bases. The trailers will serve as mobile, climate-controlled workspaces and power sources for EOD teams, capable of hauling specialized equipment and traversing diverse terrains. Responses are due by 1700 EST on March 9, 2026.
Purpose & Scope
This RFI is for information and planning purposes only, not a solicitation for offers. The Air Force requires 7' x 20' enclosed trailers to equip EOD units with full-spectrum capabilities to defeat explosive threats (conventional, radiological, biological, chemical). These trailers must safely traverse highways, improved/unimproved roads, and off-road surfaces. Once on-site, they will function as climate-controlled (HVAC) workspaces with integrated power. Detailed specifications are outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
