Scope of Work
The primary objective is the inspection and overhaul of five Carrier Model 30HXS-146R-6-KA Chill Water Units to return them to a "Ready For Issue" condition. Key tasks include:
- Conducting an "as found" condition inspection and providing a Condition Found Report.
- Disassembling and overhauling the condenser, evaporator, compressor valves, and controls.
- Cleaning and preparing water heads and tube sheets for coating with Enecon CeramAlloy CP+ or equivalent.
- Performing condenser inspection, including Eddy Current tests; additional work for tube replacement (>10%) will be handled via Change Order.
- Replacing all O-rings, gaskets, filters, system driers, dryer cores, Thermal Expansion Valve(s), and Bumper muffler discharge valve(s).
- Evacuating, leak testing (nitrogen and freon), repairing leaks, and recharging the refrigerant side.
- Cleaning and painting the entire unit according to OEM specifications.
- Cleaning corrosion from electrical covers, control contacts, and components, and adding desiccant and moisture indicators to electrical enclosures.
- Re-crating units in ISPM pub 15 compliant shipping crates, stenciling content nomenclature and part number.
