EQUIPMENT RENTAL- DUST COLLECTOR

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide equipment for blasting exterior surfaces of a USCG 154-foot FRC Vessel while it is located within an enclosed tent at the USCG Yard in Baltimore, MD.

• Provide rental equipment for blasting operations of the entire exterior surfaces of the vessel.

• The work will be performed within an enclosed tent.

• Normal damage incurred during blasting operations will be at no cost to the Government.

• Any damage beyond normal wear and tear must be approved by the Contracting Officer before repairs.

• Equipment must be Tier III, 174 horsepower diesel-powered units with a 55,000 CFM capacity.

• Collector units must have a reverse pulse jet system, auger system for dust/debris removal, and hopper-mounted pneumatic vibrators.

• Units must include a flexible discharge hose and drum cover for 55-gallon drums.

• Units must be trailer-mounted with two 80+ gallon fuel tanks.

• Collection units must have been manufactured within 5 years of the contract date.

• Contractor is responsible for all maintenance and repairs during the rental period.

• If a unit has a mechanical or performance issue, the Contractor must provide a mechanic for repair within 8 hours of notice, 7 days a week.

• If repair is not possible, a replacement unit must be provided within 48 hours.

• If equipment is deemed non-functioning, the Contractor has 24 hours to replace or repair it.

• Period: 9 consecutive weeks, scheduled between 04/18/26 and 06/20/26. The final period will be determined by the Yard POC/Ship Superintendent.

• Location: USCG Yard, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd, Baltimore, MD 21226, specifically at Bldg 80 (paint shop).

• Delivery: Equipment must be delivered between 7:00 am and 9:00 am to Bldg 80.

• Yard Access: Contractor personnel require visitor passes and security clearance. A list of personnel with full name, valid ID (driver's license preferred), and date of birth must be provided 24 hours in advance. Passports are required for non-US citizens. Authorized IDs include CAC, Foreign Passport, TWIC, Green Cards, US Passport, or MOST state IDs.

• Pick Up: Automatic pick up after 9 weeks, unless extended by Contracting Officer modification.

• Damage to Government Property: Contractor is liable for any damage caused to government property.

• Modifications: Only the Contracting Officer can modify the contract. No oral modifications are valid.

• Personal Protective Equipment: Hard hats must have the employee's name (min. 3/8" height) and Company's name (min. 1/2" height) clearly marked in black commercial lettering.
