Scope of Work
This opportunity requires the supply of:
- Four (4) 46" Rubber Expansion Joints with retaining rings.
- Four (4) 42" Rubber Expansion Joints with retaining rings. Both types must have a manufactured date not prior to 4Q2022 and meet Grade A shock requirements. The 46" joints must conform to specifications from LAFAVORITE DWG LR-1455-15 REV D, UNALFLEX DWG 24188 REV A, or HOLZ DWG A-24825 REV A. All items must be mercury-excluded and marked for traceability.
Key Requirements
Bidders must provide a Certificate of Compliance and a certified Hydrostatic Test Report for each item, traceable to material via unique marking. Technical specifications, including dimensions, operating pressure (21-40 psig), temperature (60-105°F), and fluid (seawater), are detailed in the Material Ordering Data documents (ASTM-F-1123). Flange drilling specifications are also provided for both 46" and 42" joints.
Contract Details
This will result in a firm fixed-price supply contract. Payment will be processed via Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Inspection and acceptance will occur at destination (Puget Sound Naval Shipyard IMF, Bremerton, WA) with a QA3 inspection level and a 45-day acceptance period. Delivery is required on or before February 2, 2026.
Submission & Evaluation
This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 332996 (size standard 550 employees). Offerors must submit a standalone spec sheet (PDF), complete pricing on a unit price line-item basis, provide manufacturer information, and return all pages of the completed and signed solicitation package. Current registration in SAM.gov is mandatory. Traceability back to the manufacturer source is required. Proposals for less than the entire effort may be deemed unacceptable.
