Evaluation
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award to Lockheed Martin due to their unique ability to immediately provide the proven and compatible ASW Training target, as the current manufacturer for the Mod 4 is experiencing production delays. Lockheed Martin is the only known source with an active production line for the COTS Mod 3 variant. While not a request for competitive proposals, responsible sources may submit capability statements for agency consideration, primarily for determining future competitive requirements. The anticipated cost has been determined fair and reasonable.
