• Testing: Certifications are required for Intergranular Corrosion Test, Ultrasonic Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection, and Hydrostatic tests. Approved laboratories must be used for Slow Strain Rate Tensile Tests.
• Quality System: Contractors must maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 (amplified by ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 with ISO-17025), or MIL-I-45208 with MIL-STD-45662.
• Traceability: Strict traceability from material to certification test reports is mandatory, including unique traceability numbers marked on materials and maintained through all processes.
• Configuration Control: Procedures for Waivers/Deviations and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) are detailed, requiring review and approval by the Contracting Officer.
• Welding/Brazing: Specific procedures and qualification data must be submitted for review and approval prior to any welding or brazing. Repair welding is not permitted on QQ-N-286 material.
• Mercury Free: Materials must be mercury-free.

Email notifications to PORT_PTNH_WAWF_NOTIFICATION@NAVY.MIL and BENJAMIN.T.SPANGLER.CIV@US.NAVY.MIL. No material is to be shipped prior to acceptance.
