This requirement is for modification and qualification of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). Existing Standard Wing Weapon Pylon (SWWP)- 16S1720-5 or -805) will be modified to include flare capability in order to interact with other aircraft avionics. Flare upgrade must not change legacy capabilities or interfaces. United States Government (USG) requires fully qualified Pylon Integrated Dispenser System Universal (PIDSU)- 543-1100-863) for the United States Air Force (USAF) F-16. The USAF is not offering development support and does not have SWWP or PIDSU data rights to share with potential offers. The Government does not have funds for a reverse engineering effort. Terma is the original equipment manufacturer of the SWWP and PIDSU, and owns all data rights. Offerors must be able to receive and modify assets within 12 months of contract award. Maximum quantities are 350 modified SWWPs.
