Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) to identify vendors capable of producing F-16 Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Dorsal Fairing Antenna Assembly Kits. This effort aims to upgrade F-16 communication suites with Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) capabilities. Responses are due by June 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM MST.
Scope of Work
This SSS seeks information on industry capabilities to produce or procure existing OEM fielded SATCOM components for the F-16 Dorsal Fairing Antenna Assembly Kit. The kit includes a SATCOM antenna, radome, and a modified existing F-16 dorsal fairing (Government Furnished Equipment). Specific components are: SATCOM Antenna Radome (PN 23036-1), SATCOM Antenna (PN 21-66-16), and SATCOM Fairing (PN 21-60-03-3). Vendors must assemble these into a kit with any additional required hardware. The government does not own data rights for these components, and technical data/GFI are not available, except for the fairing.
