Scope of Work

Qualified sources possess unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge, with data rights or technical data not economically available to the Government. Alternate sources must qualify according to design control activity procedures approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity.

Evaluation
Responses will be used for market research to determine the existence of capable sources and the availability of commercial items. The Government is not currently planning to use Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) but interested parties may identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Award will only be made if the offeror, product, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.
