Performance Standards & Special Requirements
Services are on an "as needed" basis, with a 24-hour response time for vault toilet, RV campground host, and dump station tanks upon BLM notification. Emergency service response times will be mutually agreed upon. Work will be randomly inspected by the COR, and deficiencies must be corrected within 24 hours.
Contractors must use a septic pumper truck with a four (4) inch minimum suction hose capable of reaching one hundred (100) feet from the road to the vault cleanout. All equipment must conform to regulations. Contractors are responsible for filling vaults with water to facilitate waste removal, washing interior vault walls, and cleaning/disinfecting contaminated areas and restrooms.
