The objective is to ensure safe pesticide application in compliance with Federal and State laws, enhance monitoring, inspections, and enforcement, and provide accurate Pesticide Use Proposal (PUP) information. Services include:

  • Monitoring pesticide applications on an as-needed basis to ensure compliance with product labels, PUPs, and California law.
  • Enhancing protection and safety by monitoring and enforcing at least 25% of all pesticide applications.
  • Performing scheduled inspections, enforcement actions, reports, documentation, and scheduled meetings.
  • Inspecting 100% of Restricted Use pesticide applications (Sectagon-42 and Telone II) and chemigation systems.
  • Collecting information on offsite seed treatment applications.
