Scope of Work
This opportunity is for the repair of the F118 Digital Electronic Control (DEC), NSN 2995015187092JU. The DEC is a critical component that interfaces with the MEC subsystem to manage functions such as fan rotor speed, turbine blade temperature (t4b), position 1GV, and ignition control. It also supplies power to the T2 sensor and operates T4B. Each unit is made of stainless steel, measures 14.24" L x 11.22" W x 6.67" H, and weighs 30 lbs. The requirement is for a maximum of 6 units per year, totaling 30 units over the contract period, with an estimated delivery schedule of 2 units every 90 days.
