Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive environmental compliance services, including:
- Updating the Storm Water MS4 Phase 2 Plan.
- Providing construction support for the Storm Water SMARTS database.
- Developing and submitting Sewer System Management Plans (SSMP). The work requires qualified personnel, specifically a California Professional Engineer or environmental professionals holding current Certified QSP & QSD credentials accepted by the California State Water Resources Control Board. All services must adhere to applicable regulations from the EPA (NPDES Stormwater Rules), California State Water Resources Control Board (SSMP under Order 2022-0103-DWQ), and all relevant local, State, and Federal laws. Contractors must also comply with VA safety and fire regulations, OSHA standards for confined spaces (29 CFR 1910.146), and California Code of Regulations, Title 8. A work plan and Health and Safety Plan must be submitted and approved prior to commencing any work.
