Scope of Work
The VA seeks capabilities for comprehensive environmental services, including:
- Reviewing Phase I or II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Removing oil-filled equipment and Aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs).
- Overseeing Underground Storage Tank (UST) testing and compliance.
- Reviewing design and construction projects for environmental regulatory compliance.
- Signing hazardous waste manifests for various VA wastes.
- Conducting confirmation sampling and overseeing laboratory sampling for regulations such as RCRA, TSCA, CWA, SDWA, and CAA.
- Providing other scientific and technical reviews and recommendations, including for regulated medical waste.
Technical Qualifications: Key personnel must possess at least three years of experience with VAMHCS operations and Maryland environmental regulatory interfaces, with expertise in RCRA, CAA, Hazardous Pharmaceuticals, CWA, SDWA, ASTs/USTs, NEPA, TSCA, CERCLA, ISO 14001, and construction design review for environmental compliance.
