Atmospheric Research Mission Equipment Case and Handling (ARMECH). The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland AFB, TX, hereby soliciting with intent to award, a competitive small business set aside, firm-fixed price contract. Description: Scope of the project requires the development of a solution, Atmospheric Research Mission Equipment Case and Handling (ARMECH) to interface the 900 cubic inch Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessels (COPVs) with pre-existing mission equipment onboard the WC-135 aircraft. The ARMECH provides protection to individual COPV?s during transloading or shipping activities; it also acts as the secure, ruggedized, stackable, single person carrying case. This requirement includes a production level technical design package, testing and analysis, prototype production, first article production, and quantity production order. This product is not available commercially and will be designed as a specific solution for our mission system. Products of this effort shall include a production level technical data package (TDP) with unlimited data rights reserved by the government, an acceptance testing report, one prototype, one first article assembly, and 250 production units.
