The Department of Transportation's Volpe National Transportation Systems Center is soliciting proposals for demolition, removal, and restoration services at two former FAA facilities in the Eastern Region: a Non-directional Beacon (NDB) facility in Jackson, TN, and a Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR) facility in Bowling Green, KY. Scope of Work
The contractor will perform all necessary activities to remove environmental hazards, demolish or remove specific onsite structures and infrastructure, and restore disturbed areas at the designated FAA facilities. This includes:
- Abatement and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead-based paint (LBP), and PCB-containing materials.
- Demolition and disposal of buildings, foundations, antenna towers, fences, and other site improvements.
- Restoration of disturbed areas, including filling, leveling, and re-grading.

Evaluation

Travel costs must be included in the pricing of line items and the total fixed-price amount.
