Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the design, materials, installation, workmanship, fabrication, assembly, erection, inspection, quality control, and testing of a new structural steel flooring system. Key requirements include:
- Replacement of approximately 280 sq ft (28' L x 10' W) of existing plating.
- Design and installation of a new metal flooring system with sufficient substructure to support equipment weighing upward of 18,000 pounds.
- Removal and offsite disposal of existing plating.
- Replacement of any conduit/plumbing removed during installation.
- Compliance with industry standards including IBC, AISC, AWS D1.1/D1.1M, ASTM, and SSPC publications.
- Welding to be performed by AWS D1.1/D1.1M qualified welders and inspected by AWS-certified welding inspectors.

- Final flooring to be painted with a primer basecoat and flat grey topcoat.
